Summary

We’re seeking a highly creative, strategic, and driven Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead our content creation and social media management team. You’ll be responsible for creating & posting content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. Reporting to our Project Manager, this role requires a sharp eye for design and storytelling, a deep understanding of fashion and lifestyle marketing, and the ability to translate our brand vision into impactful content across platforms.

If you have skills behind a professional camera, that is a big bonus! This is a remote position, but the candidate is ideally located on the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Oversee the creation of on-brand, engaging content that reflects our brand voice and aesthetic—across photo, video, and copy

  • Lead content calendar planning, ensuring alignment with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives

  • Write and edit compelling captions, emails, and marketing materials that drive engagement and conversion

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow all social media accounts, including daily posting, community engagement, and analytics reporting

  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to expand our social media reach and deepen customer connection

  • Own the strategy for influencer outreach and brand collaborations, ensuring alignment with our brand values and aesthetic

Brand Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Shape the overall brand strategy and ensure consistent messaging across channels

  • Develop and present innovative marketing strategies and campaign ideas to leadership

  • Translate high-level business goals into actionable marketing initiatives that drive awareness, growth, and customer loyalty

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in content creation (photo, video, copywriting) and managing social media accounts for brands.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.

  • Proficiency with content tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), or similar.

  • Understanding of social media analytics and scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Planoly, Meta Business Suite, etc.).

  • Strong eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling.

  • Experience with photography and short-form video production (Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes content).

  • Ability to write engaging, on-brand captions, blogs, and copy that drive engagement.

  • Comfort in front of the camera for brand-driven content (when applicable).

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong time management, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, brand strategy, and social media management, preferably in fashion or lifestyle

  • Expert in Adobe Suite programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Canva or Figma

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing creative teams and working cross-functionally

  • Strong writing and communication skills; comfortable presenting ideas to leadership

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and project management software

  • Experience leading photoshoots and directing creative production

  • Knowledge of influencer marketing, partnerships, and PR a plus
